You would be heading for your onward journey to Jaipur right after you are done with breakfast. 270 km away from Delhi, Jaipur is the capital and the largest city in Rajasthan. Also called the Pink City, Jaipur makes headlines for its share of heritage forts and palaces.

Jaipur for the magnificent city of Agra (243 km away). En route, you would be making a halt at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Built during the second half of the 16th century by Mughal emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is famous for its group of monuments and temples.
Highly popular amongst them is Buland Darwaza, which is titled the largest gateway in the world. Another majestic creation of the Mughal Empire, Buland Darwaza is made up of red sandstone and has pillars and chhatris at its top.
After admiring its beauty, return to the course of Agra. Upon arriving, our tour representative will transfer you to the hotel. Spend your evenings exploring the rich handicrafts of Agra in the nearby local market.

In the morning, visit the poignant monument of love—the Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 in memory of his queen, Mumtaz Mahal, to enshrine her mortal remains. With its ‘frozen in time’ appearance, you can stand in awe and wonder and let tranquility come over you. Afterwards, visit the Agra Fort, the architectural legacy left by Emperor Akbar in 1565. The marvel in red sandstone reflects the fusion of Jain and Mughal architecture in structure and design layout in the Jehangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, and Deewan-e-Am. In the evening, transfer to Agra Railway Station to catch the train for Varanasi, an overnight train journey.

Arrive Varanasi in the afternoon. Pick up from Varanasi Railway Station through our company representative, check in to the hotel, view the evening “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats with our local guide, and stay overnight in Varanasi.

After breakfast, a morning boat cruise on the River Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the ghats. Start Varanasi sightseeing with a local tour guide. Visit temples, Aurangzeb’s Mosque, and one of the biggest universities in India, Banaras Hindu University. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10 km. East of Varanasi is one of Buddhism’s major centers in India, with a tour guide in the evening transferring to Varanasi Railway Station to catch a train for Delhi, an overnight train journey.
