What our customers say

Frequantly Asked Questions Releted To FROM DELHI: JAIPUR FULL-DAY CITY TOUR BY PRIVATE CAR

Is this really a full day of sightseeing, or is it mostly time in the car? +

It is a genuinely full day of sightseeing. The drive each way takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours via the NH48 express highway, and we start early (5:00 AM or 6:00 AM) specifically so that you arrive in Jaipur with a full 6 to 7 hours to explore. By the time you visit the fort, the royal palace, the observatory, and the Palace of Winds; have lunch; and make your evening stops, every minute is accounted for. Yes, the total day runs 14 to 15 hours, but our guests consistently say it is one of the most memorable days of their India trip, and the comfortable private car makes the drive feel like part of the experience rather than a burden.

What kind of car will we be traveling in? +

We use only premium, well-maintained, air-conditioned vehicles. For 1 to 2 guests, we provide a spacious sedan such as a Toyota Etios or Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. For 3 to 5 guests, we use a full-size SUV—the Toyota Innova Crysta—which is the gold standard for long road trips in India and offers generous legroom and luggage space for everyone. Every vehicle is equipped with GPS navigation, a fully stocked first-aid kit, and a fire extinguisher. Our cars are inspected before every tour.

Are there clean restroom facilities and safe places to eat on the highway? +

Absolutely — this is something we plan carefully for every tour. Your driver will stop at a pre-vetted midway plaza on the NH48 highway that we have personally inspected for cleanliness and hygiene. These stops feature Western-style restrooms and a sit-down restaurant serving both Indian and continental breakfast options that meet international hygiene standards. Your driver knows exactly where to stop and will never take you somewhere that does not meet our standards. Many of our guests from the US and Europe have zero stomach issues throughout the day.

Will our driver speak English? Will we be able to communicate easily? +

Yes. We assign English-speaking drivers who are experienced working with international guests from the US, Europe, and beyond. Your driver will be comfortable with basic conversation throughout the day. In addition, a separate government-approved English-speaking local guide meets you in Jaipur and accompanies you at every monument, providing in-depth historical explanations in clear, easy English. You will never feel lost or unable to communicate at any point.

Will we be asked for extra cash for tolls, fuel, parking, or anything related to the car? +

No — not a single rupee. Our package is all-inclusive for everything related to transportation. Fuel, all highway tolls, state entry taxes for Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan, and all parking fees at every monument are paid by us in advance or handled directly by your driver. The price you paid is the price you pay. The only things you spend money on during the day are your own lunch and any personal shopping you choose to do.

Is this tour safe for solo female travelers or for guests traveling alone? +

Safety is our highest priority, and we are proud that a significant portion of our international guests are solo travelers. All of our drivers are thoroughly background-checked and have years of experience with solo international guests. We provide a 24/7 support phone number that you can call at any moment during the tour. Before your departure from Delhi, we will share your driver’s full details (name, photo, and car registration number) with you, and we can also send a live GPS tracking link for the vehicle to anyone you designate — a colleague, a family member, or your hotel concierge.

How do we get up to Amber Fort? Is there an elephant ride? +

Your package includes a comfortable private Jeep ride that takes you directly up the hillside road to the entrance gates of Amber Fort—it is fast, easy, and the most practical way to reach the fort. We default to the Jeep because it is the more comfortable and ethically sound option; many international travelers prefer to avoid elephant rides due to animal welfare concerns, and the Jeep gets you there in the same amount of time. If you specifically wish to experience the elephant ride, we can arrange it as an add-on, but it is not included in the standard package and must be requested in advance.

Do we have to stand in long lines at the monuments? +

No. Your local guide handles all monument ticket purchases on your behalf and knows exactly which entrances to use and when to arrive to minimize waiting. At popular sites like Amber Fort and City Palace, having a guide with pre-purchased tickets means you walk past the general queue and enter directly. This is especially valuable during peak season months (October to March) when these monuments attract large crowds.

Is the tour suitable for guests with limited mobility or walking difficulties? +

Jaipur’s monuments involve walking on uneven stone floors, staircases, and sloped pathways—particularly at Amber Fort, which is a hillside palace. We recommend this tour for guests who are comfortable walking for approximately 2 to 3 hours with occasional rest breaks. The Jeep ride to Amber Fort eliminates the uphill walk. If you have specific mobility requirements, please let us know when booking and we will do our best to customize the pace and route to ensure you are comfortable throughout the day.

What is the best time of year to take this tour? +

The most comfortable months are October through March, when daytime temperatures in Jaipur are pleasant — typically between 65°F and 80°F (18°C to 27°C) — and the sky is clear and blue, ideal for photography. November, December, and February are particularly popular with our US and European guests. April through June brings intense heat (above 100°F / 38°C) and is not recommended for a full day of outdoor sightseeing. We operate year-round, and your car will always be air-conditioned regardless of the season.

Can we customize the itinerary, change the start time, or add extra stops? +

Yes — this is a fully private tour, which means the day is yours to shape. If you want to start earlier, spend more time at a particular monument, skip a stop, or add a visit to a Jaipur landmark not on the standard list (such as Albert Hall Museum or Nahargarh Fort), just let us know when booking. We build the itinerary around your preferences, not the other way around. For business travelers who need to be back in Delhi by a specific time for an evening commitment, we can plan the day backwards from your deadline.

What happens if our flight is delayed and we arrive in Delhi later than expected? +

If you are booking this tour in conjunction with a flight arrival, simply give us your flight number when you book. We monitor flight arrivals in real time, and if your flight is delayed, your driver will wait for you at the airport — there are no extra charges for flight-delay waiting time up to two hours. We will also reassess the Jaipur itinerary together with you upon arrival to make the most of the time available.
